The B.C. Taxi Association is a non-protfit organisation representing the majority of taxi companies throughout British Columbia. It exists to promote & safeguard the interest of the taxi industry in British Columbia. The B.C. Taxi Association is:

The Insurance Corporation of British Columbia
is a provincial Crown corporation established in 1973 to provide universal auto insurance to B.C. motorists. We're also responsible for driver licensing, and vehicle licensing and registration.
The Passenger Transportation Board
is an independent tribunal in British Columbia established under the Passenger Transportation Act.
